Life Summit Training – Day Two
On Wednesday and Thursday, February 5th and 6th, Empower Brokerage hosted our Simi-Annual Life Summit Training. The goal of our life summits is to provide more education for those agents who attended. Throughout the Meeting, we had various carrier reps and speakers present. This includes everything from product-specific training to compliance-related questions and training. On Thursday, February 6th, Empower Brokerage hosted the second day of the life summit. This included more training from carriers like Gerber Life and Transamerica. Empower hosted the meeting and provided refreshments and lunch from the Feed Store in Southlake Texas.
What did the Agents Learn?
Our agenda was fairly tight, we had some of the following presenters at our meeting on Wednesday.
- Jessica Helms – Mutual of Omaha’s Brokerage Life Sales Director
- Tonya Springer-Taylor – Gerber Life’s Sales Account Manager
- Chris Newberry – Transamerica’s Regional Vice President for Brokerages
- Enrique Torres – Empower’s Life and Financial Manager
These speakers were incredible and provided our agents with the most amount of information possible. Allowing us to better serve our clients needs. Empower has such a big emphasis on training, and preparing our agents to properly deal and assist any clients needs. We put on these meetings in the hopes that it helps provide a wider range of products for an agent, a wider range than previously thought possible.
How can this impact my needs?
Because the agents get proper training and are kept up to date with carrier-specific products, agents will be able to suggest the best possible products for your needs. We are also here for the agents if one of their clients has a special circumstance and requires some specialized help. Empower is able to back up our agents and provide the support they need when trying to find the perfect product and when trying to determine the need of the specific person. We host these invite-only summits twice a year for Life Insurance and for Medicare, our goal is to prepare our agents to help your needs.
